If you don’t know who you avatar is. If you don’t know who your ideal client is…how do you know their pain points? How do you know what their desires are?

How are you going to get there ATTENTION? You need to know everything about them before you start your funnel.

You have to be specific you have to stand out from all the noise out there. No matter how great your funnel is, no matter how beautiful your website is, no matter how good you are at writing ads and knowing all the tricks of Facebook ads…

If you’re not specific and your offer is not good enough, nothing will work…

Copy is everything. If you have poor copy, then everything’s going to fail. Your funnels going to fail, your emails are going to fail,  your ads are going to fail…

Nobody’s going to sign up…nobody’s going to buy…Make sure you work on your copy.

You have to have congruency. 

Your advertisement has to look like your landing page, which has to flow through to your thank you page and all the content needs to have congruency.

This gives your visitors the impression they’re still within the same brand, on the same pages and they’re getting the same information, from the same source.

One of the problems with funnels, is people just listing all of the features… You need to focus on the benefits.

The benefits tell us what the outcome is for the individual based on using those features.  Don’t just state the features…focus on the benefits…focus on the outcomes.

You need a strong call to action.  Don’t assume that people know what to do next. Don’t assume that people are hungry and ready to click a button.

You’ve got to create that desire, you’ve got to create the interest and you’ve got to be very clear on what steps that they need to take next.

The other common problem with your funnel is that you have a funnel for a cold audience…but you don’t deliver on your promises.

If you don’t deliver on your promises after you add prospects to your funnel, nobody’s going to buy from you.

You have to deliver with the content they consume before they make the buying decision…

Another common problem with a funnel, is people try to sell you right then and there.  They goal for your lead magnet funnel is not to make the sale right there, but to invite people to take the next step.  The next step is giving something of value such as…their name, their email in return for something of value.

Another common mistake is that people talk about themselves…their qualifications, how great they are, the successes they’ve had, which is wonderful…but it doesn’t make for a great funnel.

You need to focus on your avatar you need to make it all about them…it’s not about you, it’s about them, speak to them.

Many sales finals have no risk reversal. Prospects become to scared to take action. It is risky for them to buy.  

So your goal is to eliminate the risk, eliminate the friction. Give them a money back guarantee.  Assure them that is so easy to unsubscribe with one simple click.

Tell them if they don’t like it, they can return it. Show them there is a way out if they cannot get the results they want…

This point speaks to number two above…A week offer…

You have to have a strong offer, it has to be specific, that has to speak to a specific problem.

What is going to help you to stand out? What is going to help your offer communicate clearly?

Show them that you’re going to take them from this before to the after…

You have to paint that image in the mind of the prospect what the after looks like.

There’s an old saying that says your fortune is in the follow up…

Well most people don’t follow up with their funnels.

They just create the funnel and think that’s it…they think they don’t have to do anymore work.

The reality is that you have to have a follow-up system.  Create yourself an automated email follow-up system, a video follow-up system, an audio follow-up system or whatever follow up system…just make sure that you have one.

I hope you found this blog post helpful and think about these points.  Think about how you can improve every single area of your funnel.  It is these small incremental changes that add up to big change.
